Thanks to everyone for their contributions.  Whether your donation is just a little or a lot, per paycheck or one-time, it ALL helps. 

This is the last week of the Charitable Fund Drive. (The Drive ends on November 2nd, 2012.) So, please take a moment, if you have not done so already, and participate in our Fund Drive.  There are hundreds of different charities available. 

To donate online go to: http://www.usecf.state.ut.us/. Choose “Pledge Online” and enter your LAN password.
On the next page, under “Select Your Contribution Type”, choose either Payroll Deduction Contribution or One Time Contribution.

You can search for your favorite charities by entering keywords. You also have the option of contributing to more than one charity. Once you have submitted your contribution, you will still be able to edit it. After you have confirmed your donation, please make sure to print a copy for your tax records (you will notice a “print” button located in the bottom left corner next to the “finish” button). This will be your only opportunity to print the receipt.

If you prefer not to complete the process on line, you can also take your contribution to your Division representative, Julie Price in Securities, or Mia Larson in Administration and they can help you complete the process. Contribution forms are available.

2012 Campaign Overview

I want to thank everyone who participated and donated in this year’s Charitable Contributions Campaign.  I am proud to say that this year we had 48% of Commerce employees who participated. This was one percent increase from last year. Together we collected $13,104.53 to help some great local and national charities.

Huge congratulations go to Division of Corporations where every single employee participated in the campaign! They celebrated today with cookies and had a special drawing for prizes. Barbara Berg won a gift basket and David Kester won a cooler.

More Winners

Today is the last day to contribute to the Utah State Employees Charitable Fund Drive. Please make your donation NOW if you have not done so already. If you are having any problems with the online entry you can fill out the pledge form that can be found online and give it to your division coordinator or Valeri Stewart (Corporations) or Mia Larson (Admin). You can also bring us your cash or check donation and we'll make sure that the money goes toward your selected charity.

We are going to have another drawing later today for those who have donated and will also reward the Division with the largest participation percentage with a special prize so get your entries in!

How to make pledges to non-listed charities and get certain organizations added to the master list of participating 501(c) 3s:

-Please use the hard-copy pledge form found at the home page http://www.usecf.state.ut.us

-Provide the contact information for the agency where you want your donation to go (name, address, and phone number)

-If choosing a payroll deduction method, sign the authorization form

-For a one-time pledge, attach a check or cash donation to the pledge form

-Submit the form to your division coordinator

Prize Drawing

Participating in the Charitable Contribution Campaign is a winning proposition. You are able to donate to the charity of your choice, which is a win-win for you and the charity. We want to thank you for participating with the opportunity to win a prize basket each week of the campaign.

As soon as you submit your donation, either on line or to your division representative, your name will be entered in the drawing. Your name will remain in the drawing pool until the end of the campaign. So the sooner you donate, the more chances you have to win.
